Jessica Biel is a ‘natural stripper’

Actress Jessica Biel could become a professional stripper, according to her dance coach.

The 27-year-old beauty, who is being trained in the skill for new movie ‘ Powder Blue ’, could take up dancing as a career because it comes naturally to her, said the actress’ coach, renowned burlesque stripper Cati Jean.

“From our very first session she picked it up and in no time reached professional level,” the Daily Express quoted Biel, as saying.

Cati, who runs a French cabaret show in Hollywood, said she would love to include Biel in a future performance.

“She comes from a dance background, so that helped, but she was also very hard-working. She achieved such a high level I’d like to have her as a guest star in our show,” Jean said.

However, the actress said: “I had so much to do and so much to learn. I have a great respect for the women who do this for a living.”

Hannah Montana: The Movie’s Happy Easter

Trend-alert update: Tween girls—still powerful; Hannah Montana—still potent; Miley Cyrus—her world, welcome to it.

Cyrus’ Hannah Montana: The Movie scored an estimated $34 million at the weekend box office, blowing past Fast & Furious and blowing away projections.

“What she pulled off here, based on tracking, is amazing,” Disney distribution president Chuck Viane said today. “It’s a tribute to her and her fan base.”

Drilling down into the numbers:

• A regular, old 2D comedy, Hannah Montana: The Movie took in more in its Friday-Sunday debut than last year’s Hannah Montana concert movie—or February’s Jonas Brothers concert movie—did at 3D prices.

• Expected to hit the upper $20 millions—tops, Hannah Montana ended up as the second-biggest Easter weekend opener of all-time, behind 2006’s Scary Movie 4 ($40.2 million).

• Disney’s own modest expectations for Hannah Montana were not influenced by what its Jonas Brothers movie did—or didn’t—do. “This is so different,” Viane said. “This is a live-action movie versus a concert…It’s a different world.”

• If you were a girl, you were 8 and it was Friday, chances are you were in line at the multiplex. Hannah Montana’s opening-day gross of $17.3 million was the biggest-ever for a G-rated film.

• Though the consensus pick to finish No. 1, second-place Fast & Furious didn’t so much underperform as Hannah Montana overperformed. The car movie held okay, collecting another $28.8 million and bringing its two-weekend haul to a hefty $118 million.

• Monsters vs. Aliens ($22.6 million) held really well, with ticket sales down only 31 percent from last weekend. At $141 million overall, it’s closing in on the esteemable Paul Blart: Mall Cop as the year’s top-grossing movie.

• Seth Rogen’s mojo led the black comedy Observe and Report to a decent $11.1 million debut. The take improved on the opening-weekend performance of Rogen’s last out-of-mainstream comedy, Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

• The manga-based Dragonball: Evolution ($4.7 million) did not feature Cyrus or Rogen. As its eighth-place debut attested.

• Race to Witch Mountain ($2 million) exited the Top 10 after four weekends and a $62.1 million run.

• Sunshine Cleaning ($1.8 million) moved into nearly 600 theaters, but slipped out of the Top 10. The indie comedy stands at $7.2 million overall.

• Vin Diesel, Miley Cyrus and Monsters vs. Aliens have Hollywood rolling again. Ticket revenue is now running 13.4 percent ahead of last year. Attendance is up nearly 12 percent.

Here’s a complete look at the weekend’s top-grossing films based on Friday-Sunday estimates as compiled by Exhibitor Relations:

1. Hannah Montana: The Movie, $34 million
2. Fast & Furious, $28.8 million
3. Monsters vs. Aliens, $22.6 million
4. Observe and Report, $11.1 million
5. Knowing, $6.7 million
6. I Love You, Man, $6.4 million
7. The Haunting in Connecticut, $5.7 million
8. Dragonball: Evolution, $4.7 million
9. Adventureland, $3.4 million
10. Duplicity, $3 million

BRYN TERFEL - OPERA SINGER CAUGHT SHORT

British opera singer BRYN TERFEL almost had to pull out of a recent concert - after forgetting his trousers.
The world-renowned star opted to wear a pair of shorts to travel from his hotel to a show in front of thousands of eager fans in Seoul, South Korea.
But the singer was left red-faced when he realised just minutes before he was due on stage that he had forgotten to pack his trousers.
Terfel reveals, "One can be a bit forgetful on the day of a concert - and I forgot my trousers at the hotel. But what could I do? Tell the audience 'I'm sorry, but I have to wear my shorts'?"
Luckily for Terfel - and the paying audience - a concert-goer was on hand to help him out.
The singer adds, "There was one person there who happened to be the same height as me. And if there was ever a pair of trousers that fits like a glove - that's the one."

Death Comes Knocking On 90210's Door

Sex, drugs, alcohol and murder. "Oddly enough all of those things [happen in the finale]," teased 90210 star Rob Estes at last night's Paley Festival event.

Wait, murder? "There may be a death at the very end of the season." That's right, kids, someone in America's most famous zip code may be saying goodbye for good.

Also, not one but two students are leaving West Beverly High, and we have the deets on a freak-out that will shock you, especially since it comes from someone other than resident bipolar gal-pal Silver (Jessica Stroup).

New Moon Taps Michael Sheen to Play Baddest Vamp

Twilght, Michael Sheen, Robert Pattinson, Kristin Stewart Summit Entertainment, Screen Gems

From cutthroat journalist to blood-sucking vampire.

British actor Michael Sheen is joining Robert Pattinson & Co. in New Moon, the sequel to the blockbuster film Twilight, a studio rep has confirmed to E! News.

In the new film due out this fall, Sheen, 40, will play Aro, the leader of the deadly Volturi vampire coven that wants to ensure humans never find out bloodsuckers exist.

Sheen is best known for playing David Frost in last year's Oscar-nominated Frost/Nixon and as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2006's Oscar-winning film The Queen with Helen Mirren.

New Moon isn't the first movie in which Sheen portrays a monster: He also appeared in 2003's Underworld starring Kate Beckinsale, with whom he has a daughter.

Fabio Wrecks Ferrari ... That Wasn't His

We've learned Italian model Fabio Lanzoni wrecked one of the most expensive cars in the world Saturday afternoon -- and it didn't even belong to him.

Fabio

We're told the Italian model was driving a Ferrari -- which was property of World Class Driving -- on Mulholland Drive near Calabasas, Cal. when he hit a turn going too fast and lost control of the car.

Sources say the ridiculously expensive ride struck something off road, causing damage to the front and back ends on the right side of the car.

Unlike the Ferrari, Fabio walked away pretty much unscathed, because we're told he was taking photos with fans at the Hyatt Hotel later that afternoon.

A rep for WCD released this statement to us: "No comment. We are not very proud of the fact that Fabio wrecked our car." Calls to Fabio's reps haven't been returned.

Naomi Campbell: From Hot Mess to...Hot Mama?

If we didn't know any better, we'd be scared of Naomi Campbell right now. The world's most infamous BlackBerry-thrower owns not one, not two, but three phones.

We're happy to report, however, that the 39-year-old supermodel appears to have tamed her wild ways.

In fact, Campbell insists she has cleaned up her act—literally...

"There comes a point when it all catches up with you and you have to deal with it," Campbell says in the new issue of Giant magazine. "And that caused me to reassess myself and get real treatment for my anger and my addictions. Some people can handle a drink or a line of cocaine, but I've finally come to realize that for me, it's all or nothing—and it has to be nothing."

The reformed bad girl found help to get herself in check (Alcoholics Anonymous, we're thinking). "I'm in The Program, and I'm proud to be," she says. "I'm not able to drink alcohol. My body cannot handle it. The discipline of The Program has helped me in other parts of my day-to-day life...I wish I knew about it earlier, but I found out about it when I did, and life is good."

With newfound sobriety and clarity, Campbell says she's ready to start making babies. Her boyfriend, whom she calls "my other half," is Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin. They reportedly share a home in Moscow.

"If God blesses me to have a child, I'd be gratefully welcoming to that child," Campbell says. "But I'm not putting myself under that pressure. I'm happy that my life is just what it is."

Now, back to those three phones. What the heck are they all for?

Well, one is for the U.K. only, another is strictly for texting, and the last is for U.S. calls. We hope that phone-as-weapon thing will remain a memory—otherwise someone's in for some rapid fire.

Hannah Montana: The Movie: Hick, Hick Hooray!

Review in a Hurry: Wooee, dogies! Hang up your disbelief right next to your cowboy hat or else the ridiculous pretense of this wholesome, Hollywood-meets-hayseeds flick just might make you spit on your whittlin'.

The Bigger Picture: For years, nobody has managed to figure out that teen supersinger Hannah Montana is really just a normal country girl named Miley Stewart—disguised in a blond Hedwig hairpiece and some go-go boots. Sure, both girls have voices like a Reno barfly, and they share the exact same overlapping squirrel teeth—similarities that you'd think an obsessed tween would notice in the time it takes to upload side-by-side photos on Flickr. But the wig—the wig! It's the hairpiece that fools the planet, a device that allows the fictional Miley to have the "best of both worlds," a booming career and a normal life.

Or not so normal. In this big-screen musical adaptation of the hit Disney TV show, Stewart (Miley Cyrus) has gone a bit too Hollywood for her daddy's liking. After Miley gets into a fight with an overacting Tyra Banks over a pair of shoes, the girl is tricked by daddy Robby Ray (real-life dad Billy Ray Cyrus) into cooling her heels back home in Tennessee for a few weeks. There, Miley will accompany her mee-maw to the farmers market, gaze wistfully as the local folks pick their guitars on the front porch and flirt with a clean-cut local cowyouth. No one is ever seen watching TV or fiddling with the Intertubes. That would be not wholesome.

The whole thing comes to a climax when Stewart's double life seems finally doomed to unravel forever, thanks in part to a stock gossip-reporter character who catches wind of Hannah's big secret. Parents will find their suspension of disbelief stretched thinner than a beanpole at the movie's climax, though the kiddie target audience will likely walk away enchanted by the overall message of hometown goodwill.

The 180—a Second Opinion: Cyrus does not skimp on quality, delivering well-produced original songs and a knockout dance number, while director Peter Chelsom's on-location shooting is gorgeous.

Spencer & Heidi Prepare for Reality-Based Wedding

E! News has learned exclusively that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are set to tie the knot on Saturday, April 25, in an undisclosed location in Pasadena, Calif.

"This will be the real wedding," says a source close to the couple, who last November staged a fake wedding for cameras in Mexico. "It's being filmed as the season finale for The Hills."

A rep for the couple declined comment.

E! News has learned that the controversial reality couple has already invited about 110 guests to the nuptials, but the list is expected to grow even larger as the wedding date nears. A source says the couple plans to wed in a sunset ceremony and is looking at a rooftop location for a reception.

Montag has already picked out her dress and, in fact, on at 3 p.m. on Thursday had her final fitting at the Monique Lhuillier boutique in Los Angeles.

Our favourite pictures of the day...

heatworld image

There's only a few things heatworld loves more than celebrities, and one of them is definitely cute animals. If those cute animals just happen to be doing or wearing something funny, then all the better – which is why we are slightly obsessed with these hilarious horse pictures. The three handsome horses were given hair extensions – yes, that's right, hair extensions – for a special one-off shoot with photographer Julian Wolkenstein, who says he did it "just for fun". Talking about the amazing pictures, he said, "Each horse took four hours to groom and a whole day to shoot." Blimey! We actually think all these horses look much better than any celebs with hair extensions. And we also now know where Lindsay Lohan got the inspiration for her new look. Hee hee. Which horse is your favourite? We think we love them all equally.

Er, is this REALLY the second greatest album of all time?!

Don’t get us wrong, for about two minutes in 2001, it did seem like Craig David was Officially Quite Good – we liked all that “took her for a drink on Monday, did something illegal in several countries on Tuesday, snuck into the STD clinic on Wednesday” business – but we’re really not sure how this has happened. Craig’s album Born To Do It has somehow been voted the second greatest album of all time in a new MTV poll. More than 40,000 viewers of different MTV channels voted in the poll which was won, less surprisingly, by Michael Jackson’s Thriller album. However, 12 per cent of voters said they very much liked a bit of Craig David all over their boink, as he beat the likes of Radiohead and Nirvana to take second place. Hmm, do we smell a scam? “At the time of having this vote and knowing that it's so many different genres of MTV, even if my fans were just trying to make the vote, I really don't think it would've made any difference,” says Craig. “You're talking massive albums, we're talking artists who have incredibly massive fan bases. U2 – these people are selling out stadiums around the world. You'd think if it was based on votes of how big certain bands and artists are, then other people would've been in those top spots. It's an incredible honour because Michael Jackson was one of the main artists that inspired me while writing that record. So to actually be placed number two behind such an incredible album that was just so consistent with singles that were just hits, to know that people have voted Born To Do It at number two is incredible. I'm very, very proud and very thankful to the UK public for supporting in that way. It's beautiful having a British album right behind Michael Jackson. That's the way we're doing it right now.” Um, is it just us or did most of that make no sense? And this man’s the second greatest artist ever? We demand a recount! Because at the moment the whole thing sounds like an altogether different kind of number two…

Miley: “My boyfriend has brought me closer to the Lord”

Seeing as it’s nearly Easter, we thought we’d get a bit religious on you. Or, at least, we thought we’d let Miley Cyrus get a bit religious on you. In a surprising new interview, the Disney starlet has spoken out about how her hot older boyfriend Justin Gaston has made her more religious. “I've never been closer to the Lord since I met him,” she says. “He's really made me read my Bible. He's made me actually read the stories in the Bible – not the quick little verses – that not only help me, but show you how to help other people.” Miley also says that she wasn’t that sure about Justin when they first met (is she blind?!) after being introduced by her Achey Breaky dad Billy Ray. “Honestly, I didn't like him at first,” she reveals. “I was like, 'Great, another songwriter. This should be fun.' He's, like, the coolest guy, so it’s good. He's very cute, but I don't think he gets as much credit as he should because he's a really good guy.” Hmm, what do you think about Miley gushing about her boyfriend and the Lord?

DRAMA At Britney Concert!!! Spears Puts Show On Hold Midway In

Ohhh, the irony!

Britney Spears, a smoker, put the breaks on her Vancouver concert Wednesday night because it was too smokey in the arena.

We shit you not!

The Toxic performer, who doesn't even sing live at her shows, walked off stage after just three songs.

The concert came to a complete standstill, lights off, for over 20 minutes - when a voice came over the speaker system and announced that the show would not continue if people kept smoking marijuana (and cigarettes) in the arena. The announcer claimed it was "unsafe" for Britney and the performers to continue with the concert.

Almost 40 minutes later, Spears finally took to the stage again, much to the relief of the thousands in attendance. But, one concertgoer tells us, "She did not look into it at all!"

Maybe Britney was afraid the secondhand pot smoke would get on her hair and shit and would fuck up any random drugs testing she has to undergo to keep custody of her kids or to prove she's not on the drugs again????

Update: We have just obtained an exclusive statement from Spears' camp about the incident in Vancouver.

A rep tells us, "We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney's set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."

Sources tell us it really was a safety issue. "We were concerned for the lighting guys and everyone else working on the show." If one of those guys up above got dizzy or sick from all that marijuana smoke….it wouldn't have been pretty.

Update #2: After the final encore, as Spears ran off the stage, Britney told the audience, "Thanks Vancouver. You were wonderful. Drive safe. Don't smoke weed!" Ha.

Britney Spears, anti-drug crusader.

Priceless!

10cc Release 'Very Best Of' This Month

10cc wrote some of the best pop songs ever. They were witty and satiric, they were poignant and affectionate, they had great beats and they told stories that resonated.

“I’m Not In Love”, “Rubber Bullets”, “Dreadlock Holiday”, “I’m Mandy Fly Me”, “Art For Art’s Sake”, “Life Is A Minestrone”, “Donna”, “Good Morning Judge”, “The Things We Do For Love”, “The Dean And I”, “Wall Street Shuffle” - great songs, terrific musicianship and inspired production.

“The Very Best Of 10cc” features all these hits and more. Out on April 20th on UMTV, the CD will be TV advertised and promoted by a major tour of the current 10cc fronted by Graham Gouldman.

Graham was one of the original members of 10cc when they formed in 1972 in Manchester. Songwriter extraordinaire, he’d already written “Bus Stop” and “Look Through Any Window” for the Hollies, “No Milk Today” for Herman’s Hermits and “For Your Love” and “Heart Full Of Soul” for the Yardbirds . His song-writing talents were put to good use in 10cc.

He’s the recipient of three Ivor Novello Awards for “I’m Not In Love” and two other Ivors for “Rubber Bullets”. He’s written five No 1 songs and countless other chart numbers. “I’m Not in Love”, which he wrote with Eric Stewart, has been played over 3 million times on US radio and is one of the most recorded songs of the 20th century. “Things We Do For Love”, which he also wrote with Eric, has been played over 2 million times on US radio and in the UK alone 10cc has sold more than 15 million albums.

The four strong 10cc (Kevin Godley, Lol Creme, Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman) launched their career on Jonathan King’s ‘UK Records’ label with the 50s doo-wop pastiche “Donna”. It went to No 2 and the hits followed thick and fast.

In 1976 Godley and Creme left to pursue a recording and video production career while Stewart and Gouldman retained the 10cc tag. They recruited drummer Paul Burgess who had played with the original four members of 10cc on numerous tours and, later, additional members Rick Fenn (guitar), Stuart Tosh (drums) and Tony O'Malley (keyboards). Various changes followed but with Rick Fenn and Paul Burgess remaining constant to this day.

In 1983 Stewart and Gouldman parted ways (although briefly working together in the 90s) with the former producing Sad Café and collaborating with Paul McCartney while Gouldman produced Gilbert O'Sullivan and the Ramones before forming the duo Wax with Andrew Gold. (Wax has sold over 2 million albums to date.)

EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Swift Donates Her Prom Dress to Charity

Country superstar Taylor Swift has had the opportunity to wear beautiful dresses to events like the Grammy Awards and ACM Awards. But there is one gown that isn’t just sitting in the back of her closet: her prom dress! Swift has given her long cream and gold Jessica McClintock gown to Hearst Magazines’ DonateMyDress.org, the first national network to bring together local dress drive organizations across the U.S., to help girls give and find the dress of their dreams. Taylor was more than happy to part with her dress, which she posed in with her best friend Abigail Anderson, saying, “I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it! To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress.” Taylor’s dress sold for a whopping $1,200 in DonateMyDress.org’s first celebrity dress charity auction. Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Nikki Blonsky, Eva Amurri, Ashley Greene and other stars all donated their dresses to the auction run by CharityFolks.com. Beatles Remaster Their Musical Domain

It's a good week to be a Beatlemaniac.

Fresh off a headline-grabbing reunion, the Beatles are set to become the remasters of their own domain, with Apple Corps and EMI Music today announcing plans to release a digitally retooled version of the Fab Four's catalog.

The worldwide release is set for Sept. 9, not so coincidentally the same day The Beatles: Rock Band video game is slated to come out.

Those who were fans back in the British boys' heyday will be happy to hear that each album will come ready-made for nostalgia. The CDs will feature the replicated original U.K. album art, expanded booklets with original and new liner notes and rare band photos. For early adopters, CDs will also be embedded for a limited time with a documentary about the album's production.

The albums' remastering have taken place at—where else?—London's famed Abbey Road Studios, and the process has spanned the past four years.

All 12 original Beatles albums will be reissued, along with Magical Mystery Tour and Past Masters Vol. I and II. The collection also marks the first time the band's first four albums will be released in stereo in their entirety.

It's no iTunes announcement, but it'll have to do.

100 Most Beautiful People of 2007

People magazine’s most beautiful people of 2007 have been unveiled, and the lovely Drew Barrymore tops the list as she graces the cover of the magazine’s most recent issue.

The now 32-year-old actress, who’s made the list four times in the past inside the pages of the magazine definitely has natural and classic beauty on her side, but she told the magazine that isn’t what makes her beautiful. No? What is it, then? “I just think happiness is what makes you pretty. Period. Happy people are beautiful. They become like a mirror and they reflect that happiness.”

Well, if happiness is all it takes, why didn’t any of the millions of other “happy” people in the world make the coveted list? Oh, right—you have to be happy and famous to be beautiful.

Barrymore, who this year starred opposite Hugh Grant in Music and Lyrics and stars alongside the hunky Eric Bana (who also made People’s list) in Lucky You, coming out to theaters later this week, has another reason to be happy: she was recently chosen as a real CoverGirl—the cosmetic company’s newest model.

She also claims she feels most beautiful, “right after [she’s] worked out and…sweating all over the place,” she says in People. “I feel like I’ve changed the shape of my body temporarily into something more flexible and strong.” The cover story, which is all about Drew, also features her tips and hints on all things beauty-related, and even dating, on which she has just one basic rule: be yourself. “Let your freak-flag fly, and if someone doesn’t get you, move on.”

Seems like pretty good advice. But would Drew “being herself” have anything to do with the fact that she’s single, and has been twice married, once to a bartender for about a month, and the second time to actor Tom Green, a marriage that lasted about a year?

One interesting feature in this year’s Beautiful People list is that 11 female celebrities—including our cover girl Drew—are featured sans makeup. That’s right—“au naturel” is in. The other featured makeup-less lovelies include American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee, Eva Longoria, singer Rihanna, Rashida Jones, Rosario Dawson, Rachel Bilson, and the three Jessicas: Jessica Alba (pictured), Jessica Simpson, and Jessica Biel, who told People: “I find that men, in my past, have preferred me without it [makeup].”

So it appears that happiness helps in the beauty department, but makeup, er, not so much. Seeing some of our favorite female stars without all the glam is a nice change, but at the same time, if you go and pick up a copy of the latest People and find the makeup-free section, you might actually be irked to see that most of them look just as hot without the extra layers and colors! Is life ever fair?

Moving on to the men, besides Bana we’ve got Brad Pitt (of course), George Clooney (another shoe-in), Matthew McConaughey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Patrick Dempsey (a.k.a. “McDreamy” on Grey’s Anatomy), Pete Wentz (who?—oh, right, the bassist from Fall Out Boy who’s addicted to eyeliner), Zac Efron, R&B singer Chris Brown, and Wentworth Miller (the Prison Break hottie).

Other females who made the list: Angelina Jolie (last year’s cover girl), Jennifer Aniston (guess Brad’s got good taste, both past and present), Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, Alicia Keys, Fergie, American Idol Carrie Underwood, Kate Hudson, Rachel McAdams, Nicole Kidman, and Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere, as well as veterans Julia Roberts and Halle Berry—both of whom have made the list 11 times.

“Old”—or at least over 50—is hot, too—Oprah Winfrey (53), Meryl Streep (57), Susan Sarandon (60), and Helen Mirren (61), who’s the oldest Beautiful Person this year, all made the list.

Zac Efron: ‘Didn’t Really Care About Being The Coolest Kid In High School’

Zac Efron might have played the big man on campus in three “High School Musicalmovies and the upcoming “17 Again,” but real life for the now 21-year-old star was very different.

“I was just focused in high school… that probably made me a nerd, but I got good grades,” Zac told Access Hollywood’s Dish Of Salt Laura Saltman at the “17 Again” movie junket over the weekend. “I didn’t really care about being the coolest kid in high school, that wasn’t my priority.”

And according to his “17 Again” co-star Matthew Perry, Zac brought that same focus to the role they share.

“We read through the whole script and I would let him know, ‘That’s probably the way that I would say it,’ and he would do the same thing,” Matthew told Access.

Zac might be one of the biggest young stars in Hollywood, but Matthew revealed the teen heartthrob wasn’t anywhere on his radar when he first learned they would share the role.

“To be quite honest I said, ‘Who is Zac Efron?’” Matthew revealed to Laura.

Though the former “Friends” star had never seen any of the “HSM” movies, he told Access he’s now a major Wildcat fan.

“Now, I’ve seen them all,” Matthew revealed.

“And I would say, I think the second one was my favorite,” he quipped.

Heidi On Lauren’s Impending ‘Hills’ Departure: ‘We Don’t Need Her’

After much discussion, Lauren Conrad has stated this will be her last season of “The Hills.”

But as far as Heidi Montag is concerned, the show will go on just fine once LC is gone.

“We don’t need her,” Heidi told MTV News. “We’ll miss her. I just don’t know if we need her.”

While there had been debate whether LC would return for the upcoming fifth season of the hit MTV show, which debuts April 6, she recently confirmed she was coming back for one more go-around.

“I actually thought last season was going to be my last,” the reality star previously told Entertainment Weekly. “[But] the producers wanted to hopefully give the show some sort of closure and needed one more season.”

But when one reality door closes, another reality window opens for another star.

“‘The Hills’ hasn’t even really begun yet,” Heidi continued. “I think this is just the beginning.”

Yet, Heidi wasn’t surprised her famous frenemy was ready to walk away from life in front of the cameras.

“I know she hasn’t been wanting to be do this for a while, and [the life she really leads] is not on camera. So I think it’s a closing chapter for her. I’m sure she’ll have fun and success,” Heidi continued. “She’s gotta leave the dramas to the pros!”

MovieMantz Review: ‘Fast & Furious’

“Fast & Furious”
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker
Directed by Justin Lin

If you like fast cars and fast women — and, really, what red-blooded young male doesn’t? — then “Fast & Furious” is for you.

Then again, the same could be said about the first movie. And the second. And the third.

But at least the fourth film in this testosterone-fueled franchise has something that was missing from its two predecessors (2003’s “2 Fast 2 Furious” and 2006’s “Tokyo Drift”). For the first time since 2001’s “The Fast and the Furious” became a surprise hit (grossing more than $207 million worldwide), all of the original players are back in the driver’s seat — Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez.

That makes “Fast & Furious” the first true sequel to the original film. And thanks to a stronger story written by Chris Morgan (“Wanted”), a surprising amount of character development (more than a film like this probably deserves) and, of course, more over-the-top car chases, it’s also the best in the series.

But let’s not kid ourselves — Diesel and Walker still give one-note performances, while Brewster and Rodriguez have less to do than they did the first time around. But due to stylish direction from Justin Lin (who directed “Tokyo Drift”) and just the right amount of chemistry between Diesel and Walker, “Fast & Furious” has plenty under the hood to keep this franchise running full-throttle.

Grovel-voiced fugitive Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and rogue FBI agent Brian O’Connor (Walker) are drawn together once again, this time to take down a notorious drug-runner who’s looking for daredevil drivers to move his product across the border. Toretto has a personal vendetta to settle, while O’Connor needs Toretto to get the job done. They’re both in the hot seat, but once they put the pedal to the metal, nothing can stand in their way.

It’s hard to believe that the first movie came out eight years ago, especially because the buff Diesel and the steely Walker look exactly the same. But this new lap will do them a world of good, since they each saw their careers stall out in recent years — Walker hasn’t had a hit since 2006’s “Eight Below,” while Diesel’s biggest movie goes back further, to 2005’s “The Pacifier.”

Beyond the intensely choreographed car chases, “Fast & Furious” serves as a reminder as to why their careers took off in the first place. And even though it leaves the door open for a fifth movie, it remains to be seen whether or not they’ll be game for another lap. For the moment though, “Fast & Furious” does what it does very well, so just enjoy it for the fun and furious ride that it is.

Gilles Marini Heats Up ‘Dancing’ Competition Without His Shirt

Gilles Marini made a major splash on “Dancing With the Stars” on Monday night, proving once again, he is the celebrity dancer to beat.

Gilles, the “Sex and The City” heartthrob, who last week netted the first perfect score of the season, once again tackled the ballroom with professional partner Cheryl Burke to great acclaim. The dance floor couple’s paso doble was filled with dramatic lines and perfect footwork, and it featured – for at least part of the number – a shirtless Gilles.

It was the couple’s dancing though, which brought them a standing ovation from not only judges Carrie Ann Inaba — who said it almost brought her to “tears it was so passionate,” and Bruno Tonioli, but from the entire audience.

Gilles and Cheryl, who took home 29 out of 30 points (only Brit judge Len Goodman gave them a less than perfect score), had a lengthy round of applause from the crowd, which included Gilles’ wife Carole and his former “SATC” boss, Executive Producer Michael Patrick King.

While Gilles once again ran away with the show, Olympian Shawn Johnson proved her determination to remain a contender alongside her partner, Mark Ballas.

The duo’s elegant Viennese waltz was full of ruffles and soft footwork and it had Carrie Ann raving.

“You guys just proved that sometimes, simplicity is the route to success,” she said as the two took home 26 out of 30.

But Lil Kim and Derek Hough, stood their dance floor ground, also achieving 26 out of 30. They too danced the Viennese waltz leaving Carrie Ann to suggest they were “perfectly matched.”

“You finish each other’s movements,” she noted. “You compliment each other so well.”

Falling into fourth was Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani. The two tackled the paso doble, but Melissa’s shaky feet left the judges split.

“There [were] blunders going on,” Len said as they took home just 25 out of 30.

Fawcett's recent hospitalization was first reported by radaronline.com.

Britney Spears Has On Stage Scare In Pittsburgh

Oh my goodness! I would be petrified too!

While Britney Spears was performing Slave during her Circus tour stop in Pittsburgh, there was a minor stage glitch that made the singer very nervous.

The lift that was supposed to raise Britney up and down was unsteady and the singer was visibly nervous. She stopped moving and lipped as little as she had to until she was safe back on the ground. I would have done the same thing except instead of staying very still, I would have been crying and grasping onto the side bars for my dear life.

Presley's short poem sells for $20,000

London, March 29: A short poem written by rock and roll legend Elvis Presley about a dead bird has sold at an auction for a staggering $20,000 (14,000 pounds).

The King of Rock scrawled the rhyme on a piece of paper after apparently killing a robin that perched on his window ledge, reports a website.

The note, written on his own stationary, reads, "As I awoke this morning when all sweet things are born, a robin perched on my window sill to greet the coming dawn. He sang his sweet song so sweetly and paused for a moment's lull, I gently raised the window and crushed his ******* skull".

The poem was part of an online sale of Elvis memorabilia, which closed March 26.

Other items sold in the auction included a jumpsuit he wore at a concert at New York's Madison Square Garden, which went for $212,588.40 (148,663 pounds), and the typed lyrics for his song "Young and Beautiful", which went under the hammer for $1,155.60 (791.50 pounds).

Thousands turn out to bid farewell to Jade Goody at Essex funeral

It was a sad day in Essex as thousands of well-wishers lined the streets to pay their last respects to reality TV star Jade Goody. Although there were tears, there was also applause and cheering as Jade's funeral cortege – which was accompanied by her mum Jackiey Budden and husband Jack Tweed - arrived at the church where the service was held just after 12pm.

A gospel choir sang the hymn Amazing Grace as Jack helped carry her white casket into St John the Baptist church, in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. Many fans wept as they watched on giant screens which had been put up outside, and there was applause as the service began.

Famous faces among the mourners included TV hosts Richard and Judy, the Sugababes – the girl band trio who performed at Jade's wedding last month - and Big Brother presenter Davina McCall. Jade's former housemate from the show Spencer Smith was also among the guests. Jade's sons Bobby and Freddie were not present - they were instead in Australia on a 'boys' bonding' trip with father Jeff Brazier.

Earlier fans laid flowers on the vintage Rolls Royce which bore Jade's coffin on its final journey through Bermondsey, where she was raised. The procession paused at The Blue Market where the star's family used to have a stall. A dove was released and prayers were said, before the cortege moved on to the council estate where she grew up.

After picking up other members of Jade's family, the procession - which was made up of the Rolls Royce, four Daimler limousines and a Bentley – made its way over Tower Bridge, through East London and on to the star's £1 million home in Upshire.

Bouquets chosen by her family paid tribute to some of the famous sayings which endeared her to the public in Big Brother. One spelled out "East Angular" a reference to a gaffe she made, thinking East Anglia was a foreign country.

Another, which depicted a jar of marmite, was a testament to the star's famous sense of humour. She'd requested the design, as she thought people either really liked her or disliked her, just like the food product's adverting slogan: "You either love it or you hate it."

The star, who died on Mothers'Day, was laid to rest in the £3,500 ivory Manuel Mota gown she wore for her wedding last month and with photos of her sons.

After the service mourners moved on to a wake at a local golf club, where - at Jade's request – tea and cake was served instead of alcohol.

Michelle Obama presented France’s first lady with a musical instrument when they met in the city of Strasbourg on Friday.

Mrs. Obama gave Carla Bruni-Sarkozy a Gibson acoustic guitar, says the Associated Press.

Their face-to-face meeting was a fashionable one: Mrs. Obama sported a belted black coat, while Bruni-Sarkozy (a former model) wore a fuschia-toned camel coat.

Paris Hilton Gushes On Doug Reinhardt: ‘He’s Going To Be My Husband’

Has Paris Hilton found her future fiance?

“He’s going to be my husband,” she giggled to E! Online at the I Heart Ronson for JCPenney party in LA.

And though she and the baseball player and former “The Hills” star have seemingly had a whirlwind romance, the celebutante said that Doug’s been part of her life for quite some time.

“We’re best friends,” Paris said. “It’s not like we just met. We’ve known each other over the past year. I was in a relationship before and we reconnected. I’m really in love and really happy.”

But according to Doug, the couple doesn’t have wedding bells in mind just yet.

“You never know,” Doug said.

Until then, he’s got a place on the set of the second season of Paris’ “My New BFF,” where she said he comes up with “funny ideas.”

“It’s good having my boyfriend on set and watching,” she said, adding that things didn’t work out with Season One winner Brittany Flickinger. “I want a best friend who wants to be friends with me because I’m a good person and a good friend, not for any other reason. I’ve been fooled by so many girls.”

‘Fast And Furious’ Revs Up For $30.2M Opening Day

“Fast And Furious” outraced the competition on Friday, taking in a whopping $30.2 million at the box office.

The film, which reunites the cast of 2001’s “The Fast and The Furious,” earned well over its expectations and is on track to pass $75 or even $80 million – leaving the previous April record holder, 2003’s “Anger Management,” in the dust. The Adam Sandler-Jack Nicholson face-off earned $42 million its opening weekend.

The first “Furious” film, which also starred Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, earned $40 million during its opening weekend in 2001, according to Box Office Mojo. It went on to earn over $200 million worldwide.

This Week's Worst Dressed

For every Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Moss out there there's a badly dressed celebrity doing their bit to destroy fashion. This week it's the turn of Janice Dickinson and VV Brown.

Janice may describe herself as the original supermodel but the outfit she chose for the LA premier of Valentino: The Last Emperor, was more little girl playing princess than classic style icon.

The layers upon layers of ruffles look better suited to a six year old and the dip dye beige bottom looks like Janice has trailed the dress through a dirty puddle.

On the plus side she has accessorised nicely with a cute diamante bow clutch bag and pretty nude heels.

We've been championing VV Brown as a future style icon for a while now so we're disappointed to have to put her on our worst best dressed list but there really is no excusing those glasses.

There's geek-chic and there's just plain silly and these bulky square frames fall into the latter category.

The sequin snowflake dress, which looks suspiciously like Ashish is very cool but VV was attending a Dinner In Honour Of Gucci's Frida Giannini, where the rest of the guests were dressed in floor length evening gowns not leg flashing mini-dresses and gladiator sandals.

The dress is quite cool VV but please dress occasion appropriate next time. You might only be on the Worst Dressed list on a technicality but you should still be ashamed!

Megan Fox's Sexy Sulk

Megan Fox hates being a sex symbol.

The 'Transformers' star - who is regularly voted the world's sexiest woman - wants to be known for her acting skills rather than her stunning looks.

She told Empire magazine: "You can't be a sex symbol 24 hours a day. I can't be a professional celebrity or a professional sexpot. I can't do that to myself.

Megan is definitely a strong candidate for the part.

"I just want to work and make the right choices, and study and develop as an actress.

"I don't want to be on the cover of every magazine that exists. I want to try not to do that. It's my job to show people something different."

Although she is keen to distance herself from sexy roles, it was recently revealed Megan is tipped to be the next Lara Croft.

The 22-year-old actress is said to be favourite to portray the dare-devil archaeologist character in the new 'Tomb Raider' movie.

A source said: "Megan is definitely a strong candidate for the part."

Angelina Jolie previously played the heroine in 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' and 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life'."

Jennifer Hudson: I don't want you to cry for me

Singer doesn't want fans to get emotional over family tragedy

Friday, 3 April 2009

Jennifer Hudson insists people needn't feel responsible for her.

The American Idol singer’s mum Darnell Donerson, 57, brother Jason, 29, and nephew Julian King, 7, were shot dead in Chicago in October.

‘The other day this lady came up to me and got really close to me,’ says Jennifer. ‘I thought, “What is it that makes people want to ... embrace me?”

'I don't like it when people get all emotional. I don't want you to cry.

‘But to see that love from fans [is] one of the most beautiful things.’

Jennifer, 27, says her music career has helped her keep busy.

‘This is what I love to do, and I hate to sit still,’ she tells Entertainment Weekly.

‘I have been active for the past four or five years, and to be working like that and then to just stop and all you hear is the clock ticking ... That will drive you crazy.’

Rumer Willis Plays Prostitute on Medium

Rumer Willis is spreading her wings as an actress with a gritty role as a lady of the evening for her guest-starring role on Medium.

"It's a little strange for me to have the daughter of one of my closest friends [Bruce Willis] play a prostitute, but she is really terrific in this role," says Medium executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron, who worked with Bruce on Moonlighting.

Find out what else Glenn has to say about Rumer...

"She's extremely talented and a wonderful mix of both Bruce and Demi," adds Glenn. "She has her mom's sensitivity and vulnerability, but that tough streak her dad has, and she's as bright as both of them. But she's really her own person."

The episode, set to air May 18, is titled "The First Cut Is the Deepest" and features Balthazar Getty as Rumer's character's john, as well as the return of Anjelica Huston as Cynthia Keener, Allison DuBois' former boss who is now in jail for murdering her daughter's killer.

Glenn tells us, "Anjelica is back for just this one episode, and we wanted to find someone really good to direct it, so it was my idea to have Patricia Arquette direct again. She's a terrific director. When I approached her about it, she was flabbergasted, like, 'Really?' If we come back next season, you will likely see Patricia directing more episodes."

Glenn filled us in on much, much more about Medium, so check this section on Monday to hear all about the season finale, deaths and guest stars galore.
