When you're already a household name, why not go ahead and change it to something else? Beyonce has dubbed herself Sasha Fierce, and has requested to be known by that name. Her new double album, I Am... Sasha Fierce is due out on Nov. 18.
"I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am," the sultry songstress said in a statement.Okay, Beyonce, we mean, Sasha; but who exactly is this other side of you?
The statement continues: "Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage."And if you're still not convinced that Jay-Z's spouse is serious about all this, you can even visit Sasha on her MySpace page , and also enter to win a gift bag and personal messages from the R&B diva, whoever she is.
