This new TV show is going to be HILARIOUS!
This could be the best thing to happen to BBC1 for years. New show Hole In The Wall will see well-known celebrities don silver lycra suits and attempt to fit through a hole in a wall without getting knocked into a pool. Confused? Yep, we were too, until we found this hilarious clip of the Japanese version of the show. It's utterly ridiculous, but the simplicity of it is genius. The show, which will hit our screens on Saturday nights from mid-September, will be hosted by the lovely and orange Mr Dale Winton, and will consist of two opposing teams led by Strictly's Anton Du Beke and cricket legend Darren Gough. The official press release type thingy reads, "Each week it will be up to the team captains, Anton and Darren, to guide their teams through holes of differing shapes and sizes always ensuring they 'keep their eyes on the wall'. Throughout the show the wall shapes will get harder and come faster and the competition between our team captains will get stronger and the stakes higher as only the winning team can walk away with £10,000 prize money for the charity of their choice." How amazing does this sound?! Host Dale Winton is full of enthusiasm as ever, saying, "A swimming pool, a hole in the wall, celebrities in lycra, what could be more me than this?!" The foreign versions of Hole In The Wall have already received over 10 million hits on YouTube, so this show looks set to be an enormous success. We can think of a few celebs we'd like to see in tight lycra, and even more we'd like to see dumped in a pool...
